Just because you aren’t rich and famous doesn’t mean you don’t need to call a Vancouver, WA family lawyer to write up a prenuptial agreement. Doing so is not necessarily unromantic. Getting things in writing is a prudent decision. A family attorney in Vancouver can help.
First, however, let’s take a few moments to laugh at the odd-ball clauses found in pre-nups. These weird pre-wedding agreements come from the Huffington Post.
- Number of times per week that the couple would be “intimate.”
- No smoking in the house.
- Four home-cooked meals per week and if the wife did not accommodate she would lose her shopping allowance.
- A fine of $10,000 every time the husband was rude to her parents.
- Husband can only watch one football game on a Sunday.
- The right to conduct random drug tests.
- The husband was required to be home on time every night.

Hopefully, this happiness will continue, but having a pre-nup is never a bad idea.
You may not want any of the above in your prenuptial agreement, but you have the right to think through a prenup for yourself and your soon-to-be spouse.
